Argentina Mendoza Vistalba

100% Malbec
14.5% abv

The earliest records indicate this vineyard was planted in 1924 and the family has continued to preserve the terroir in its traditional way. After selling grapes to the top wineries, the family built their own on-site garage-size winery with 2007 as the first vintage. The focus is to show the full expression of the grapes with little influence from oak or the winemaker.

Tasting Note
Deep and brilliant ruby red color with blue and purplish hues around the rim. Complex aromas slowly evolve and develop in the glass with plums, fresh red berries and delicate floral notes. It is very soft in the mouth before complex, intense and concentrated flavors with a lingering aftertaste. There is remarkable varietal typicity, extraordinary freshness, fruity expression with vanilla notes, soft toast flavor and sweet spice.

Suggested Pairing
Grilled meats, steak, lamb, duck, eggplant
